Wine Tasting Gets Competitive at Uncorked @naturesbin

Thu 4/10 @ 6:30 – 9:30pm

Wine tasting becomes competitive at Uncorked, a benefit for Cornucopia, Inc. held at the smARTspace at 78th. Do you have access to the finest wine in town? Bring it to Uncorked and see if you can win cases of wine. Because, really, we all need more wine on hand.

Here are the rules, per the website:

  • Everyone who attends brings two bottles of the evening’s theme wine (Cabernet).
  • At check in, one bottle will be bagged and numbered and the other bottle will be set aside.
  • The bagged/numbered bottles are put out for tasting.  The bags are completely opaque, so no one knows the specific wine they are tasting.
  • Before the end of the night, everyone votes for their favorite wine using the number on the bottle.  We’ll give you a ballot card that you can use to keep notes on while you taste.
  • We will count all the votes and award prizes to the top five vote getters.  The person who brings the number one wine will receive the majority of the bottles that had been set aside.  A great way to start a wine cellar!

Food will be provided by Nature’s Bin, so there will be something for everyone — omnivores, vegetarians & vegans alike. Live music by Men with Short Beards.
