Judging from the photos, video, and audio files posted online, NoBunny’s appearance at Now That’s Class should be one crazy evening.
According to his bio, “NOBUNNY shows were purported to include a dizzying act that often featured nudity, dancing, chaos, and costumes (most notably NOBUNNY’s filthy rabbit mask.).”
Evidence shows that some of this is a bit more than “purported,” at least the costumes, dancing and chaos part. The music — which I guess you’d describe as lo-fi garage pop — is as goofy and unhinged as you would expect.
Nobunny and his band will be at Now That’s Class with Madison, Wisconsin psych-punk duo Hussy, and two Cleveland bands who appear frequently in area clubs: Shitbox Jimmy and Wooly Bullies.
The Wooly Bullies, who play NTC so often they seem to be virtually a house band, will be celebrating a record release — a four-song 7” EP.
Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
