Praying Mantises are one of the most unique and intriguing insects in the area. The Cleveland Museum of Natural History continues its Explorer Lecture Series with Chasing the Praying Mantis: A Journey Across the World to Understand their Diversity, Mating Games and Personalities by Dr. Gavin J. Svenson, Curator of Invertebrate Zoology at the CMNH.
As always, the evening begins at 6pm with light appetizers and a cash bar in the museum’s lobby. The presentation by Dr. Svenson begins at 7pm in the Murch Auditorium.
Dr. Svenson will explain how exciting new research is completely changing the way we understand these unique creatures. Virtually everything once believed by scientists is now under crucial scrutiny with passionate debate. Learn more about these new discoveries and revelations at the CMNH this Friday.
