Husband-And-Wife Faculty Members Play Brahms Sonatas at CIM

Sun 10/6 @ 4PM

For those who love classical music but maybe don’t have the money to go to Severance Hall every week, the Cleveland Institute of Music is a treasure.

It has a constant schedule of concerts, many of them free performances by faculty (many of whom are Cleveland Orchestra members) and students (some of whom will likely be in the future).

This week, for instance, the husband-and-wife team of Mark Kosower and Jee-Won Oh, will perform the complete Brahms sonatas for cello and piano at CIM’s Mixon Hall. Both are on the faculty at CIM. He’s also principal cellist for the Cleveland Orchestra. She’s an in-demand soloist and chamber musician who has performed all over the world

It’s free. Seating passes are required though. Call 216-795-3211.
