Island Life
West of Cleveland is island country. Twenty-six islands dot Lake Erie — South Bass Island, Kelleys Island, and Middle Bass Island to name a few. Hop on a ferry and check out historic monuments (like Perry’s Monument in Put-In-Bay), museums, bars and restaurants, and wineries.
Or stay on the mainland and visit Sandusky’s scenic waterfront, charming Vermilion, Lakeside — Lake Erie’s Chautauqua, the quaint town of Marblehead and, yes, more wineries.
Take a tour out west and see what Ohio’s north coast has to offer.
