The Ohio Burlesque Festival at the Beachland Ballroom expanded to two nights for its third year, featuring dozens of performers from across the country and as far away as Wales.
They included a full complement of attractive women of all shapes and sizes, whose creative and stunningly costumed acts ranged from flirtatious vixen, Marilyn Monroe-style beauty queen, and leggy spy, to a Beetlejuice-themed sketch, courtesy of the woman from Wales, and even a mummy who spewed talcum powder “dust,” bringing down the house. Glamour and humor rubbed elbows.
The evenings also included a balloon-swallowing circus performer, a torch singer, and, for the ladies in the crowd — and there were many — a couple of male dancers. No one left unentertained.

It was my first burlesque show & I was intrigued. However, it was too much of a good thing. My husband & I left after four hours of sitting in the most uncomfortable, grungy seats ever.

WOW….CREATIVE…AMAZING SOME of the acrobatic positions some of the patrons were able to do…THE LADY WITH THE GRINDER IS a trip!!!…. the FLOURESCENT lady with the hoop was wild tooo…WHAT..TURN OFF THE LIGHTS and watch the neon show?!… ACE OF SPADES QUEEN of hearts gig was NEAT toooo!!,,,,,
