VIDEO: James Levin Launches One World Festival at Cultural Gardens

James Levin is an instigator. Responsible for Free Shakespeare at the Zoo, founder of Cleveland Public Theatre, co-founder (with Cool Cleveland’s Thomas Mulready) of IngenuityFest, and the Wooster Jam, Levin has an uncanny knack for figuring out what a community needs, then making it happen. Watch the video interview with Levin here.

After 65 years of annual One World Day celebrations in Cleveland’s famed Cultural Gardens, Levin sensed this treasure deserved to be embraced city-wide.

So on Sun 8/25, he launches the Cleveland One World Festival by closing to traffic Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard between St. Clair and Superior Avenues from noon to 8PM.

With 2 main stages and 3 additional performance areas, visitors will finally be able to fully enjoy the recently-restored Cultural Gardens with Chinese Acrobats, Italian Opera, Japanese Taiko drums, Tango, Irish dancers, magicians, buskers, Nature Photo Walks, plus ethnic food and wine & beer from around the world.
