Open Air at Market Square Features Blues & Brass

Sat 6/8 @10AM-4PM

Now that the weather’s warm, linger a bit when you go shopping at the West Side Market on Saturdays.

Stick the groceries in the car and head across the street to the newly renovated Market Square Park. Now through September 21, there’ll be happenings there each week including artists, craftspeople, vendors, and music.

This week you can check out bluesman Austin Walkin Cane Charanghat, a familiar figure in area clubs especially on the west side, and the  eight-player percussion-and-brass ensemble, the Revolution Brass Band.

Upcoming weeks will feature local blues, jazz, country, rock, and folk artists, plus monthly crafts events organized by the producers of the Bazaar Bizarre.

There’s a full schedule of activities and bands at Ohio City Inc’s website.
