Mon 8/5 + Tue 8/13 @ 7pm
Cleveland’s first Waldorf school — now called Urban Oak School — has taken wing. The School, located in Cleveland Heights, is now accepting enrollment for preschool through grade two.
Learn more about Urban Oak at an upcoming info session: Mon 8/5 and Tue 8/13 from 7 – 8:30pm at the Coventry Rd. Library in Cleveland Heights.
They say: “Come learn about Urban Oak School and the Waldorf pedagogy from the teachers and founders of the school! Hear from a certified Waldorf teacher who will walk us through a day in the life of a student learning under the Waldorf philosophy, and ask questions about the programs offered at Urban Oak School for the 2013-2014 school year.”
Urban Oak is loosely modeled after Akron’s successful Spring Garden Waldorf School and seeks to educate the whole child — “the heart and the hands, as well as the head.”
