Deborah Voigt at Oberlin

Sun 3/10 @ 8PM

Deborah Voigt is one of the most prominent operatic sopranos performing today, acclaimed for the richness of her voice. She’s known for her interpretations of Strauss and Wagner; she’ll be reprising the role of Brunnhilde in Wagner’s Ring Cycle at the Metropolitan Opera this spring. Undoubtedly, all the voice students at Oberlin’s world-famous conservatory will be on the edge of their seats, hopefully soaking up inspiration rather than discouragement, when she performs a recital this evening at Oberlin’s Finney Chapel. Tickets are $42 in advance, $45 at the door.
