Wussy Back in Town at the Kent Stage

Fri 2/22 @ 8PM

Cincinnati’s Wussy have made the trek up I-71 to Cleveland many times in their more than a decade together, winning many area fans in the process. That’s because the group’s two singer/songwriter/guitarists Lisa Walker and Chuck Cleaver write consistently memorable pop/rock tunes with consistently interesting lyrics. The band recently added John Erhardt — formerly Cleaver’s bandmate in his unjustly obscure ’90s band the Ass Ponys — on pedal steel, giving the band more sonic colors to work with.

They’re back in northeast Ohio at the Kent Stage. Lazy Susan opens. Tickets are a mere $5, one of the best musical values you’re going to find anywhere.
