Record Swap Comes To NEO

Sun 2/24 10AM – 4PM

Are you among the growing legions who are dusting off their old turntable, picking up a vintage piece at a garage sale, or investing in an audiophile model, just because you love spinning vinyl records? First-time hipsters are snagging turntables at Urban Outfitters, then looking for fresh vinyl to spin. Most bands are releasing vinyl versions of their current hits, as well as reissues of classic albums, and many people swear they sound better than CDs. Yup, we’re one of those people.

We frequent the record stores in the area that continue to ply the vinyl trade, and we’ve got some good ones: My Mind’s Eye in Lakewood, Square Records in Akron, Blue Arrow Records, This Way Out and Music Saves in Waterloo (not to mention Star Pop) Loop in Tremont, and all the fine The Exchange locations. In fact, you’ll find more and more vinyl being offered all the time.

Another option is the classic record swap. Drop in at the American Legion Hall on Brookpark Road for the Northeast Ohio Record – CD Convention on Sun 2/24 for thousands of records, CDs, memorabilia, posters, new, used, rare, imports, collectibles and everything in between. The best thing they offer is the opportunity to talk with people who are as passionate about music as you are.

See you there?
