B-W Student & Clinic Intern Wins WHO Internship

Baldwin-Wallace University junior and former Cleveland Clinic Office of Civic Education Initiatives intern Charlie Hayes, a Parma native, has been selected as one of the youngest interns for the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.

His resume was packed with experience from his Cleveland Clinic internship and his experience in Baldwin-Wallace’s 2012 Summer Scholars Program, and he served as an ambassador of the University’s Undergraduate Research and Creative Studies program.

Hayes will be taking classes while in Geneva so he can graduate in four years. We wish him the best, and congratulate him on bringing honor to our region.
