A local family created a foundation called Eleonore Rocks in honor of their daughter who they lost three weeks after birth due to a congenital heart problem. Elenore’s mom, Rochelle, said her most precious moments with her daughter were spent rocking in a rocking chair in the hospital.
In Eleonore’s spirit, Rochelle and husband David created the foundation to donate rocking chairs to local hospitals. They’re hosting Wine on the Rocks on Sat 1/29 to raise money for more chairs. Join together for a wine tasting, heavy appetizers and select desserts plus a silent auction.
