Cleveland-based company hosts film premier

Tue 2/8 @ 7PM

Hollywood comes to Ohio w/ an exclusive showing of Heaven’s Rain, a film based on the true story of former Oklahoma Senator Brooks Douglass. The night includes a red carpet, Q&A w/ director Paul Brown, writer Brooks Douglass, and lead actor Mike Vogel  & actress Tayrn Manning. Meet the stars & pretend you’re in Hollywood! Of course, our Hollywood is a lot less fake!

About the event & its organizers:

Russian Media is a multi-media agency, based out of Beachwood, Ohio that was founded in 1993 by Russian immigrants Michael Feinstein and Olga Osipoff. The company’s primary product is the Russian Magazine, a free newspaper publication for the Russian-speaking community in northeast Ohio and nearby regions. The paper has a circulation of 20,000 targeting cities such as Cleveland and Columbus. Over the past 17 years, Russia Media also published numerous Russian Business Directories, produced a public access television show, a Clear Channel radio show, and 6 documentary films. Two years ago, the company expanded to Los Angeles, where it started a program called “Passport to Hollywood,” which works directly with the New York Film Academy to create customized film and acting programs for international students. Red carpet premieres, day-long excursions, and special parties are among program activities.

An opportunity recently arose to host a film premiere in Cleveland. We saw this as a way to give back to the city in which we grew our business. The event will mirror an authentic Hollywood premiere with a red carpet and after-party with the stars!
