Where did the Homeless Grapevine go?

Hey, where did the Homeless Grapevine go? Cleveland’s outspoken street newspaper has disappeared, along with its vendors selling the paper outside the West Side Market and all over town. The Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless had to stop publication due to financial concerns. However, several Cleveland poets are trying to revive the Homeless Grapevine (or a new street paper), and are getting close to the $1,000 mark needed to print the next issue.

The paper is more than just another news rag. It’s a voice of homeless people, a place where people can be real about life on the street, and a way for homeless folk to earn a living (vendors keep a portion of sales).

Wanna help? NEOCH is accepting donations and volunteers.
