Lonesome No More @ Wall Eye Gallery

Opening Fri 10/15 @ 6 – 11PM

Cleveland is home to many amazing artists. And it’s time the world (well, the region) take notice. The North Coast Collective, made up of renegade local artists, is launching a traveling art exhibit of Cleveland artists. Their goal: promote Cle artists throughout the entire rust belt region. The Coalition will also promote Cle as a place for artists to live and work.

Catch the launch of Lonesome No More, their traveling art show, on Fri 10/15 from 6 – 11PM @ Wall Eye Gallery. Get in on the excitement. This will be a cash and carry show w/ a musical performance by Madame and the Moist Towelettes at 10:15pm.

Lonesome No More will feature Cle’s brightest emerging artists, including CHOD, Ron Copeland, Adam Dumont, Shaun Edwards, Steven Ehret, Jonah Jacobs, MCXIII, Michelle Marie Murphy, Bob Peck, Scott
Phillps, Scott Pickering, Joshua Rex, Greg Ruffing, Andrew Shondrick, and The Sign Guy.

More than thirty artists were invited to a meeting last May to develop the North Coast Collective.
Early discussions focused on how to better promote Cleveland’s art scene to people outside of the
region. “We then had a paradigm shift. Since we feel the exchange of ideas and art is the primary goal
of the Collective, the location where this exchange takes place became secondary. Once we grasped
this concept, the idea for a tour developed quickly,” said the group’s spokesperson, Dave Desimone.

“It was important for us to launch this exhibition in Cleveland and we are thrilled that Wall Eye Gallery
is providing that opportunity” said Desimone. Other cities being targeted for the tour include Milwaukee, Chicago, Indianapolis, Columbus, Akron, Youngstown, Pittsburgh, Erie and Buffalo. Details are being finalized and will be shared as they become available.
