Formed at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in 2003 and rapidly gaining a worldwide reputation as one of the top young quartets, the Jasper String Quartet features J Freivogel ’06, Sam Quintal ’06, Rachel Henderson Freivogel ’06, and violinist Sae Niwa. Since their time at Oberlin, these rising stars have garnered some of the most illustrious prizes in the chamber music world—including a silver medal at the 2009 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition.
