“The latest installment of Laurel Beth Gans’ humorous novel, Pre-Dent, has its protagonist taking the DAT to determine whether she’ll get into the dental school program. Chapter Three of the Joc-O-Sot playbook introduces the young Joc-O-Sot to the famed warrior Black Hawk, as the young boy celebrates his first successful hunt. The Amerindian piece will be preceded by a reading of Grace Butcher’s Sestina for My Ancestors. The final piece in the program will be Episode One, A Priceless Reward, of a serial teleplay authored by Darlene Outler Coleman. This will be Coleman’s first public reading with the Fine Tuning program.”
