The temperature will be rising in Coventry Village — at least inside the Grog Shop — when the Latin Dance Party gets into full swing.
It kicks off with music by acoustic guitarist Victor Samalot, whose stylistic range covers jazz, pop, folk and Latin. Then the Cleveland-based Paulo Costa Trio, with lead singer and guitarist Costa, percussionist Davi Lira and trombonist Felipe Brito, takes the stage to get bodies moving with their comprehensive range of Brazilian music including bossa nova, samba, forró, maracatu, baiao and frevo.
There’ll be tropical-themed drinks to cool you off after you work up a sweat dancing. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door.
