Graphic Novel/Comix Artists Share Their Work and Stories at Cleveland Museum of Art

Sat 6/22 @ 10AM-2PM

If you ever wanted to know what it’s like being a working artist, come down to the Cleveland Museum of Arts Ingalls Library today for a deep-dive visual arts showcase session with graphic artists Gary and Laura Dumm and Joe Zabel. All three artists are known for their work in graphic novel/comic books projects including those of the late, legendary Cleveland writer Harvey Pekar and his American Splendor series.

They’ll be bringing some of their works to show and explaining how the collaborations worked — how they translated stories into art. The program is free and open to all.
