Many outdoors lovers look forward to winter so they can enjoy the thrill of one of the Cleveland Metroparks most distinctive attractions: the toboggan chutes at Mill Stream Run Reservation. The two 700-foot chutes send riders rocketing downhill at up to 50 miles an hour, the perfect activity for those suffering from Cedar Point withdrawal. They operate whether there’s snow or not.
The chutes are open Friday through Sunday through March 6. But during the Christmas holidays they’re open more days and keeping longer hours. For instance, normal Sunday hours are noon-5pm but today they’ll be open until 10:30pm. You can ride deep into the evening since there’s no school the next day. Check here for complete hours.
An all-day adult ticket is $12; an all-day ticket for 11 and under is $10. If you’d like to try it out to make sure you don’t freak out, a single-ride ticket is $6. Season and family passes are also available.
