Harmonica player Joe Filisko and guitarist/vocalist Eric Noden are each noted blues players in their own right. Both are dedicated historians and practitioners of blues’ early 20th century roots styles, looking back to the genre’s raw-edged but skilled self-taught pioneers.
While they continue to perform and teach individually (both at the legendary Old Town School of Folk Music), as a duo, they multiply exponentially the intricacy and energy of what they do. They’ll be coming together to Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s Happy Days Lodge as park of its Heritage series. Tickets are $20, $15 for conservancy members, $5 for ages 12 and under.
