CAN Journal Celebrates the Art Community at Renovated Huntington Playhouse

Sat 7/13 @ 6PM

For more than a decade CAN Journal has been spreading the word about northeast Ohio’s visual arts scene, through its quarterly magazine, its weekly e-newsletter and its website, sharing information about artists, exhibits and events that might otherwise be overlooked by the local media (although CoolCleveland, ahem, and Canvas are also doing good working in drawing attention to this scene).

Help support its work as well as its archive of past issues at the Cleveland Museum of Art by coming to its party taking place at BAYarts’ newly renovated Playhouse at Huntington Reservation. There’ll be drinks (first round is on Fred and Laura Ruth Bidwell), music by Mourning [A] BLKStar and a toast to Cleveland artists by the Cleveland Museum of Art.

And tickets are really inexpensive so even starving artists can attend; a mere $25. Get them here.
