Rising young Cleveland artist Lacy Talley creates interesting objects with healing properties: her sculpted figures on pedestals were one of the highlights of the Cleveland Botanical Garden’s recent show, The Nature of Healing.
Talley continues that theme of healing with a show at the Gallery by Artfully Phi, called The Crystal Gardens: An Immersive Healing Art Exhibition, which, she says, will revolve around healing crystals as well as artwork on display and interactive stations.
“Growing up in inner-city Cleveland, Ohio, I witnessed firsthand the lack of healing tools in my community, leading to harmful coping mechanisms,” says Talley. “The Crystal Gardens aims to fill this gap by providing a supportive environment for emotional management and healing. I’ve been developing this show for the last two years and I’m excited to share this experience with you all!”
The show opens with a special evening on Friday June 6 and remains on view through July 26. Go here for more information.
