Create Colorful Mosaic Stepping Stones at East Cleveland Alive’s Mosaic Madness

Sun 7/14 @ 1-4PM

Ingenuity’s East Cleveland Alive is a series of free creative events, activating the historic Mickey’s Building in East Cleveland at the Edge of University Circle.

The upcoming event, Mosaic Madness, is a workshop where participants will create mosaic stepping stones for a new community greenway that will span Woodland to Wadena. Each person will have the chance to create one mosaic for the greenway and a smaller one for themselves. The workshop will be led by Cleveland mosaic artist Angelica Pozo, who created the mosaics for the Stephanie Tubbs Jones bench at Wade Oval and the Jesse Owens Plaza next to Rockefeller Park Lagoon and led the community mosaic project in Tremont’s Lincoln Park. DJ David Eons will be playing music to work by.

The event is free, but you must register. It’s critical that you get there at the start of the event due to the time the work takes. If you arrive 15 minutes late, they warn, you may not be able to take part. Register here.
