Tue 4/30 @ 7:30PM

The nearly 70-year-old Cleveland Chamber Music Society’s 2018-2019 season comes in for a landing with the seventh and final concert.

It features longtime Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra principal horn player William Cabellero, joined by pianist Rodrigo Ojeda and oboist Cynthia DeAlmeida, playing music by two 19th-century composers, two 20th-century composers and one living composer.

They’ll played Three Miniatures by California-based composer/conductor Anthony Plog; the 1994 Horn Concerto by Oliver Knussen, who passed away last year; Eugene Bozza’s 1941 solo horn piece En Forêt; Carl Reinecke’s Trio for Piano, Oboe and Horn (1887); and Johannes Brahms’ Intermezzo in A major, Op. 118, No 2.

The concert takes place at Forest Hill Church in Cleveland Heights. Tickets are $30, $28 for seniors, $5 for students.
