City Dogs is a volunteer program of the City of Cleveland’s Division of Animal Control & Care that works with homeless dogs to prepare them for adoption, taking them to events such as the St. Patrick’s Day parade in their little red “adopt me” jackets to show off how friendly and eager to love these mostly pit mixes are.
To support this great work, City Dogs is hosting a benefit event at the Happy Dog in Gordon Square. And since it’s Halloween, they’re doing a thing that thing that seems to be popular for Halloween shows: musicians doing cover sets of their favorite artists. At this event, they’ll be doing sets of Black Sabbath, Blondie, The Cure, Warsaw, Pylon and Roy Orbison. Tickets are $10; get them here.
