Zygote Press Opens Show of Work by BIPOC Fellowship Artists

Fri 3/3 @ 6-8PM

Zygote Press, the local arts organization devoted to teaching, promoting and providing space for the printmaking arts, opens a new show in its gallery, called Transmutations.

The six artists in the show were part of the last two cohorts of Zygote’s 2022 BIPOC residency, which offer BIPOC artists and educators with no previous printmaking experience paid fellowships to learn about and work with the facilities Zygote offers in silkscreen, lithography, monoprint and other forms of printmaking. And then they get to show their work! Artists include Charisse Harris, Paula Jackson, Sydney Jefferson, Bri Robinson, Ron Shelton and will0w Watson.

The show opens with a free public reception Friday March 3 and remain on view through Saturday April 23.
