Cleveland’s Lantern Theatre, which presents its own distinctive programs of readings and music, returns to Dunham Tavern for two performances of its usual Independence Day show.
In Declaration Exploration, scripted by local playwright Eric Schmeidl and described as “a light-hearted look at our country’s founding,” you’ll hear a reading of the Declaration of Independence, excerpts from Poor Richard’s Almanac, and “musical hits of the 1770s.” It combines humor with real education.
