For more than half a century (!) the Canton Museum of Art has been hosting its traditional European-style holiday market, the Christkindlmarkt, one of the first of the many maker markets offering holiday shopping from artist vendors.
Its two-day 52nd market will feature more than 70 artisans, both familiar favorites and newcomers, at the both the museum and the adjoining Cultural Center for the Arts. Shop for holiday and home décor, wearable art, photos, prints, metal, glass and wood art, jewelry, pottery and more. Pre-decorated trees will also be for sale. The Christkindl Sweet Shoppe will be open to get those special treats you probably should indulge in just once a year!
There will also be sandwiches, snacks, beer and wine available for purchase at the Cultural Center Cafe to fuel your shopping spree. Presale tix are $8, at the door $10, kids 12 and under are free.
