Capitol Theatre Happy Hour Series Screens Classic Mob Film “GoodFellas”

Wed 1/30 @ 6PM

The Happy Hour Classic Film Series returns to Gordon Square’s Capitol Theatre, with six films from the American Film Institute’s list of 100 Greatest American Movies of All Time.

It’s starting toward the bottom, with #94 — the 1990 New York Mafia story GoodFellas, directed by Martin Scorcese and starring Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci, Ray Liotta and Lorraine Bracco. (Pesci won the best supporting actor Oscar). The influential film is considered a classic among mob films and spawned many memes about gangster culture.

The screenings start with a happy hour in the lobby from 6-7pm; admission includes appetizers and a mini-cocktail or soft drink. There’s live music too. Tickets are $10.
