In honor of what would have been the 73rd birthday of Cleveland’s signature rock & roller Michael Stanley, the Rock Hall hosted a public event on its plaza and unveiled a new exhibit devoted to the beloved local rock icon who died March 5.
Fans lined up to pen messages on a large sign on the plaza and cheered as Stanley’s daughter were presented with proclamations from the city, and members of his bands, past and present, stood to be recognized. Afterwards, they were admitted to the Rock Hal itself to check out the new exhibit.
