Cleveland Rocks: Past Present Future’s monthly musicians professional development workshops return for July, with valuable information about hand-held vocals microphones. CRPPF’s David Kennedy will talk about qualities such as tonality, directionality, sensitivity, durability and affordability, and then musicians will have a chance to try out different microphone to see how they perform.
As usual, the workshop is followed by the 2 x 4 singer-songwriter showcase where four local performers do two songs apiece. This month the lineup features all hip-hop artists: Eroc Beatz, Honasty Blade, Kwas-E and Vincent Munch.
It takes place at the Cleveland Rocks shop on Waterloo Road and it’s free. It’s a good idea to register because space is limited. Go here.
