Cleveland Public Theatre’s DanceWorks, its annual showcase of local dance companies, moves into its second week with a group likely to be familiar to area dance fans: Inlet Dane Theatre.
Founded in 2001 by its current artistic director Bill Wade, its mission extends beyond presenting outstanding choreography works to a collaborative creative process that engages more people from outside the traditional world that modern dance reaches and works with.
Its program at CPT is titled “Experiences: Lived and Imagined.” One half features works from its repertory inspired by stories from community members abut their life experiences, gathered through partnerships with various area organizations. The other half, they say, “leverages creativity and imagination, exploring what might be.”
All tickets at CPT are “pay what you wish.” Go here to reserve them.
