Come down to the Happy Dog at the Euclid Tavern in University Circle and hear form some of the movers and shakers in the local food scene about how Cleveland is getting into the “green” growing spirit. Panelists include master farmer Henry Doll: Donita Anderson, executive director of the pioneering North Union Farmers Markets; Noelle Celeste, publisher of quarterly magazine Edible Cleveland; and Vel Scott, who has organized programs to teach inner city residents how to eat healthy.
In addition Cleveland Arts Prize poet David Young will read from his 1997 book Seasoning: A Poet’s Year: With Seasonal Recipes. It’s free.
