The Close Encounters chamber concerts hosted by Heights Arts on Sunday afternoons give classical music lovers the chance to hear some of the area’s most gifted musicians in intimate settings, a series curated by Cleveland Orchestra cellist Dane Johansen.

For its fourth concert of the season, it will be heading up to the Heights Theatre on Coventry Road for a program that includes Antonín Dvorák’s 1891 Piano Trio No. 4 in E minor, Op. 90, and Ludwig van Beethoven’s 1811 Piano Trio in B-flat Major, Op. 97. Johansen will be joined by Cleveland Orchestra Associate Concertmaster Amy Lee and Israel pianist (and artistic director of the Cleveland International Piano Competition) Yaron Kohlberg. In addition, Kohlberg will perform a set of solo works for piano which will be announced from the stage.
