It’s a big year for the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Italian Festival at the Gordon Square Church: it’s reached to big 100! If you love Italian food, music and general vibe, but find the Feast in Little Italy (taking place in August) a little too much for you, this might be just the ticket.
For five days you can enjoy full Italian dinners or treats such as sausage sandwiches, cavatelli with meatballs, pizza and lemon ice, along with beer and wine, while enjoying music by DJs and live bands that will provoke lots of spontaneous dancing. Bingo, raffle prizes and the procession of saints on Sunday round out the festivities which are free and open to all.
