There is an election coming up on Tuesday November 4, and while these are exclusively local elections, with no high-profile, high-stakes races on the ballot, it’s important to get in the habit of voting — every time. Many cities in northeast Ohio, including Cleveland, are electing mayors and city councils, and these elections are important too — and they often have a more direct impact on your life. Complaining doesn’t get those potholes filled or those empty store fronts filled — but voting for the right people might.

Early voting started on October 7, but some people prefer to vote at their own local polling place on Election Day — the final day to vote. Sadly, it probably won’t be very crowded so you can be in and out in no time. Just do it. Find you voting location and what’s on your ballot here.
