The moCa Connect series, taking place at moCa Cleveland, return for another evening of art, education, music, dancing and fun.

This year’s special guest is filmmaker and Chicago native Coodie Simmons who’ll give an artist talk at 9:30pm. He’ll talk about his filmmaking process as director of Netflix’s 2022 jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy, about fellow Chicagoan and his good friend, Kanye West, and ESPN 30 for 30 documentary Benji about the shooting death of a Chicago high school basketball player who was a top national prospect.

From 10pm-1:30am, everyone can hit the dance floor and move to the eclectic music mix spun by Nic Nac, DJ Walk and Gumbo.
