NEWS: Cleveland Taco Fest Announces Its Return for the Second Year

Fri 8/29-Mon 9/1

Last year’s Taco Fest at Jacobs Pavilion was a hit in its debut year, so of course it’s taking place again. Its producers have just announced that the second annual Taco Fest will take place at the same venue Thursday August 29 through Monday September 1 — Labor Day weekend.

Tacos will take center stage of course, with more than 40 taquerias, eateries and taco trucks serving up probably at least 100 varieties of tacos, if not more. There’ll also be plenty of tequila to wash it down, including the nine premium tequilas to taste at the Tequila! Tequila! Cantina. And if margaritas are more your thing, the Margarita Fro-Zone will provide them, frozen or on the rock.

For the kids, there’ll be a family fun zoon with bounce houses, crafts, face painting and more.

There’ll also be two stages with bands, DJs and other performers — lineup still to be announced. But we can tell you that Mexican Lucha Libre wrestling will be back! For those with cast iron stomachs, there’ll be eating contests including hot sauce eating and a taco eating speed competition.

Tickets are already available here, along with more info about Taco Fest and updates as they become available.
