Mon 12/30 @ 6:30-8PM
The Cuyahoga County Public Library is offering an opportunity to celebrate Kwanzaa and learn more about the holiday’s history and meaning at its Maple Heights Branch.
There the Cleveland Association of Black Storytellers will host the fifth night of the seven-night holiday, the one dedicated to “nia” or “purpose.” They’ll explain what that means as part of an evening that also features a candle-lighting ceremony, African dance and drumming, and crafts for the kids. It’s free and open to all but you must register. Go here.
