Abattoir features the work of four diverse artists bringing richness to our region. Marquette Williams of Studio Zero is launching a week-long short film workshop to bolster the local film community.
Here’s what we will embrace this week: Rising star photographer Amber Ford tells her story at Art House, while CJO and The Musical Theatre Project pay tribute to Gershwin at the Maltz PAC. Ed Caner and David Mayfield play as a duo at Happy Days Lodge, and another disparate duo, Venezuela’s Larry Bellorín and Winston-Salem’s Joe Troop bring their stringed fusion to the Transformer Station. Grab hold and don’t let go.
