Prolific local music writer Annie Zaleski has penned volumes about Duran Duran, Pink and Lady Gaga and done articles for publications such as Rolling Stone, Salon, The Guardian, The Los Angeles Times, NPR Music, and Billboard, among others.
Her latest book should be eagerly snapped up by an army of fans. Taylor Swift: The Stories Behind the Songs shares the story of this megastar’s career from her inauspicious beginning as yet another underage aspiring country singer to her massive record-setting stadium tour of this past year. Zaleski’s book explores how each of Swift’s eleven studio albums and 200+ songs has added to her legacy.
Zaleski will be signing copies of her book at the B-Side Lounge on Coventry. It’s part of a day of activities on the street that includes music, a sidewalk sale, kids’ activities and food trucks from noon-7pm.
