Two Veterans Cleveland Rockers Will Perform a Free Concert at Cain Park

Tue 8/13 @ 7PM

The free concert series, sponsored by Musicians Union Local 4 at Cain Park in Cleveland Heights, offers a chance to hear two area veteran musicians with impressive resumes.

Headliner is Marc Lee Shannon, well known to area audiences from his lengthy stint with Michael Stanley’s band, the Resonators, as well as Stanley’s side project the Midlife Chryslers. Prior to that, Shannon had spent a decade working as a musician in Los Angeles. Stanley produced Shannon’s first solo album, 2007’s Any Ordinary Man, released on Stanley’s Line Level label. It took a while for him to follow it up — he was battling addiction and is now very active in the recovery community —but he released Walk This Road in 2018 and Lucky 7 (a reference to his seven years of sobriety) in 2022.

Opening is singer/songwriter Bill March who played bass with Cleveland’s Beau Coup who had several regional hits in the 1980s. He’s released a pair of EPs of his original music in the last several years.

The concert, in the Alma Theatre, is free, thanks to the Musicians Union.
