The intimate little spot of the southeast corner of Murray Hill and Edgehill in Littl Italy has been home to several different restaurants, most recently Il Bacio and Nora. Since May 2023 it’s housed Tutto Carne, an Italian-flavored steakhouse featuring all Ohio-raised meats. Its proprietors are the team of chef/owners behind Shaker Heights’ Paloma, Giovanni’s in Beachwood, Smokin’ Q’s BBQ in Mayfield and the Village Butcher in Mayfield Village: Quagliata and Zachary Ladner. At less than 50 seats and clean, elegant decor, it’s ideal for a place to impress a date or have a special anniversary dinner, with a menu featuring selections that are familiar and well prepared, lacking in discomfiting experimentation (No “foam” here!) It’s the Italian flavor that welcomes vegetarians with the sort of meat-free pasta dishes most Italian places do well.
