Tacos have become incredibly popular in recent years, and why not? They’re the perfect mobile food, with endless varieties of fillings in a folded shell.

The annual Cleveland Taco Fest at Jacobs Pavilion gives locals four days to try out some of those varieties. More than 30 food vendors will be offering their takes on this traditional Mexican street treat as well as other types of food, and there’ll be plenty of cold margaritas to wash them down.

There’ll be more to do than eat though. For entertainment, there’s Mexican-style Lucha Libre wrestling twice a day as well as nonstop music on two stages with some of the area’s top (mostly) local bands including Lileae, LoConti, Da Land Brass Band, Charity Cunningham, TobyRaps, Jul Big Green, the Jim and Eroc Duo, and the ubiquitous Apostle Jones. There will also be vendors and daily contests such as the hot sauce challenge and taco-eating contests.

Got kids? They’ll find lots to keep them occupied in the Kids’ Zone, including bounce houses, glitter tattoos, crafts and of course face painting.
