So Akron’s independent cinema, Nightlight, isn’t running any risks by booking Cat Video Fest 2024, an hour-and-fifteen-minute compilation of cat videos put together from submissions and online finds. In fact, they’ve booked it for multiple screenings and two weeks, with showings on weekend mornings to make it convenient for families with cat-loving kids.
And every year, a portion of the proceeds goes to local cat-oriented rescues and shelters. Nightlight will be sharing their with Kent-based Tree City Cats. We guarantee Ohio’s junior senator won’t be doing an intro. In fact, if his name is mentioned, it’ll probably get booed. Get tickets here.
