Blues Community Pays Tribute to the Late Harmonica Player Reese Black Germany

Harmonica player Reese Black Germany was a long-time part of the northeast Ohio blues community, who passed away last year at the age of 64.

Now his friends will gather to pay tribute to his life and his music at the Beachland Ballroom in a packed evening hosted by the Cleveland Blues Society. Bands performing include Blues Chronicles, Black & Coe, Nothing Fancy, and Blues on Fire, with harmonica players Jarred Goldweber, T.C Odegard, Jon Ban, Dave Morrison, Jack Charlton, Harpman Brantt, Dan Bode, Gary Craft, Bob Hughes and Jim Kormanik set to take the stage with them.

Among the other musicians who are scheduled to perform are Al Moses, Jeremy Piteo, Jamil Adeen, Nicola Marchi, Gavin Coe, Michael Bay, Gina Stutzman, the Elm St. Blues Band, Don Buchanan, Justin Butcher, Bobo Adkins, Phil Quidort, Todd Meany, Tracy Marie, Liz Bullock and Austin Walkin Cane. Germany’s wife, Nanci Germany, will be a special guest.
