Back in the 90s, when he was at school at Bowling Green State University, Cleveland musician Adam Rich formed his label Love Muffin, to release his band’s music. He subsequently released other bands’ music as well, and then, in 2008 he launched an annual event called LoveMuffinPalooza which, several years later, evolved into an annual benefit event for The Gathering Place, a nonprofit that provides support to patients and families dealing with cancer.
This year’s even is coming up at the BOP STOP. Rich’s current band Flowers Love Being Curt will perform, along with Spirit of 74, the Marilyn DeFrange Band, Chris Castle, Thor Platter and Sean Benjamin. The event will also feature a raffle with more than 150 donated prizes, such as restaurant gift cards, books by local authors, tickets to events and more. All money raised goes to the Gathering Place. Get tickets here,
